California Cowgirls Unlimited was owned and formerly established in 2004 as a general partnership by Lucinda Boragno and the late Gail Jensen Carradine, the wife of the late actor David Carradine, who recently passed away. Ms. Carradine and Ms. Boragno grew up together as neighbors and sincerely appreciated one another. Ms. Carradine was also the one responsible for coming up with the idea for the business.

Ms. Boragno has become recognized for her entrepreneurial spirit as the sole owner of California Cowgirls Unlimited, a business designed to preserve the memories of their fathers as well as growing up as farm kids in the San Joaquin Valley that is reflected in their music, country music in particular, poetry, literature and much more. Provided by “unlimited boundaries,” Ms. Boragno provides permanent housing for her dogs that were previously abandoned. Adopting and providing a sanctuary for unwanted dogs, she actively ensures their health and well-being.

Ms. Boragno is a talented songwriter, lyricist, poet, author, farmer and educator who has garnered notoriety for her works. Having focused mainly on composing country music, much of her writing has been inspired by her life in San Joaquin Valley, California. Ms. Boragno also began writing a cookbook with Gail Jensen Carradine.

Grateful to the endorsement of numerous famous people that she has met over the years, including screen actor Harrison Ford, country singer-musician Tanya Tucker, and David Somerville of The Diamonds, Ms. Boragno also notes being able to work with some of the best in the industry. Additionally, she credits her late husband, Kevin L. Peachy, who served as her manager, was a leading Hollywood musician, worked with several tremendous writers, and recorded with many professionals from Motown Records. Looking forward to the future, Ms. Boragno plans to continue writing songs to carry on her husband’s legacy and that of Ms. Carradine. She also plans to care for her parents’ 80-acre estate.

Aside from her work-related obligations, Ms. Boragno has been involved in charitable initiatives through her church. She also serves as a life member of the California Scholarship Federation.

Ms. Boragno graduated from Sanger High School. She subsequently studied at Reedley College before earning a Bachelor of Arts from California State University in Fresno in 1979. She is recognized as a life member of the California Scholarship Federation. Highlighting her achievements, Ms. Boragno has received other awards for academic achievements.
